It was an exciting morning at Benson Village School on Friday, October 24, 2025, as NBC5’s “Weather at Your School” broadcasted live from campus. Students joined Meteorologist Marissa Vigevani bright and early — helping deliver live weather forecasts between 4:30 AM and 8:00 AM.
The event brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm to the school community, with many students arriving before sunrise to take part in the live broadcast. Following the final on-air segment, Ms. Vigevani headed inside to meet with 4th and 5th grade students, who proudly shared their own weather reports created as part of a classroom project.
Adding to the excitement, Marissa took time to autograph each student’s weather map, much to their delight. The visit was a perfect blend of learning, fun and community.
