FHGS band and chorus students had the wonderful opportunity to perform in a high notes music festival in New York. Our students received an Excellent Award for their choral performance and a Good Award for the intermediate band performance. The students celebrated by closing out the day at the Great Escape where fun was had by all!!
With the busy happenings that come at the end of a school year, please remember to vote this Tuesday, June 18th. The budget information meeting will be the night before at 6:30 PM in the band room at Fair Haven Union Middle & High School.
Our halls have only been empty for a few minutes and we already miss our students!! We hope you all have a fabulous summer and we can't wait to see you in August!!!

FHGS first graders studied Mexican culture and learned about facts, foods, music, dance, and traditions. Their culminating activity was a performance for families. These soon-to-be 2nd graders put on an amazing performance and even got their families to engage in song and dance! Estudiantes bravos!!!
The 6th Grade Celebration on June 11 was amazing. Celebrating our 6th Graders as they prepare to transition to FHUMS was wonderful. We have no doubt that our 6th Graders are going to move forward and make a positive impact on the world. Thank you parents and families for all your support. We also wanted to thank Shaw's for the beautiful flower arrangements and balloons to show our 6th graders how special they are!

Yesterday, FHGS held their traditional family barbeque. It was a fun time for all!

Today, Veterans visited the kindergarten classes to discuss the meaning of flag day. They explained what it takes to become a soldier and how to properly fold a flag. The veterans gave students flags, books and pins. We want to thank all the veterans and soldiers for their service.

On Thursday our students enjoyed a visit from the FHUHMS Marching Band. It was great to learn what the Marching Band does and find out about some of the specific instruments that are in the Marching Band. Thank you for coming over FHUHMS Marching Band!

PLEASE NOTE: The Rutland Herald ended today's article with misinformation. The next Budget Vote will once again be by Australian or ABSENTEE BALLOT. Contact your town clerk for your absentee ballots. The new warning will be discussed and voted on at the next school board meeting, Monday, June 10th. Once this is done, ballots will be distributed to the town offices. The Rutland Herald has since updated the online article, and will be issuing a correction in tomorrow's paper. The photo shows the corrected article ending now online. FHGS just wanted to say Thank You to Caring Canines for visiting this year and allowing our students to read to, pet, and enjoy the love of these amazing dogs! Having Caring Canines visit each week is one of the highlights of the week!
