The FHUMHS Baseball and Softball teams are hosting a Benefit Cookout to support the Martelle and Bouzianis family, after they lost their home to a devastating fire. This family includes 4 athletes from our baseball and softball programs.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 13th following the Varsity Baseball and Softball home games.
Burgers, hot dogs, chips, dessert, and drinks will be served from 4:00-7:00pm in the circle at FHUMHS. The community is invited to join us and eat outside picnic style or stop by to grab take out.

Mrs. Hart's preschoolers have been challenging themselves to jump higher and higher on the playground with block towers. Look out for them on the track team in a few years!
Last week, Mr. O'Meara, our Director of Curriculum, appeared as the mystery reader for Ms. Quinn's third grade class. His book, Creepy Crayon, was a hit!
Mrs. Hart's Pre-k joined Mr. Danyow's class for a snack and story as part of their Kindergarten transition activities. The kids are excited to play together again soon!

Attention all incoming 7th graders: Fair Haven Union Middle School is holding a Transition Camp July 10 through 21 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Registration forms will be sent out soon, or you can inquire by emailing Andrew Levesque at alevesque@svuvt.org or Helen Alexander at halexander@svuvt.org. Please register by June 3rd.
Recently during an inservice, our district Instructional Assistants attended an awareness level training with Center for Health and Learning called UMatter Suicide Prevention. This valuable training was sponsored through an Aware Grant.

Boys & Girls Club is hiring!
This past Monday evening, 3 brave students presented to our Slate Valley school board to share their experience with the first ever FHGS Robotics Club. They did an amazing job! Thank you to the staff advisors, student participants and their families. We are excited to continue this club and see it grow!
