Friday, October 28th!

Attached is a link to a new platform we are using to generate opinions on certain matters we are working on in our school district. The platform is called ThoughtExchange. This is the first exchange to circulate among all district parents, guardians and community members. Please take a few moments to exchange some thoughts on planning for the next academic year in relation to the school budget. Through this platform you can post a thought, along with rate and comment on others' thoughts. We value your opinions, they matter and are appreciated. All thoughts and comments remain anonymous. Thank you. To take part, just click the link below:

Today, FHGS successfully completed a fire drill and relocation drill. We thank our FHPD for their support with these drills! And we thank our students who were so quiet and listened so well to their teachers and Principal Infurna. Well done!

Last week FHGS practiced an options based drill, later this week we will be practicing a relocation drill.

Custodians needed! If you are interested please contact Chris Cole, Director of Operations at 802-265-4905 or email ccole@svuvt.org.

For the last three weeks, first graders in Mrs. McCrea's class enjoyed some tech time with Ms. Cacciatore. Week one they explored using the green screen and creating a short video (click this link to view their work - https://youtu.be/LEMYI9NQ_rw), week two they made a paper circuit card that lights up, and in week three they, along with Mr. Danyow's class, went back to the year 1972 and used some technology of that time.

We are excited to have the opportunity to be involved with Granger House and the Hidden History Project at Castleton University.

After our trip, many students spent time writing thank you notes for our bus drivers and to the Orchard.
