Students in K-5 have been working in the library with Ms. McGarry and Mrs. Cacciatore to make 3D-Pen printed snowflakes! This was the first time that students had the opportunity to use this technology! Fourth grade students were able to put lithophanes in the center of their snowflakes, so when light shines through, their picture shows!


Grade 8 has been examining how the Sun, Earth & Moon interact in predictable ways to create observable phenomena such as: tides, phases of the moon, eclipses & seasons. Grade 1 has just finished a unit of astronomy too, focused on the relationship between the sun and the earth.

Victoria Henry presents FHGS with the Mobil Exxon Grant, a grant in the amount of $500, to be used to support the areas of math and science.

Our first school-wide PBIS celebration of the year! Thanks to the hard work of all students and their ability to demonstrate respect, responsibility and safety, we filled our Falcon Tower! We celebrated with a school-wide PJ Day & movies in the afternoon! Congratulations FHGS!!

The LTA program is a curriculum based field trip for school students. We are asking for your help in allowing students to make a good selection of activities.
