Today grades K-1 wrapped up a 3D printing unit in library! The students drew an imaginary friend on doodle3d.com. Then we brought their creations to life by 3D printing them. This week, the students were able to add even more details by painting them. The students had a lot of fun designing their friends. A big thanks to Rodney Batschelet for helping with this tremendous project! Without his hard work or expertise, this project would have been impossible.
Celebrating our middle school students at a Trimester 3 and Year End Awards Assembly today.
Many awards were given out this morning including academic and transferable skills awards for both Trimester 3 and year end. Spring sports awards were handed out, including to our 4 students who played on JV teams. Finally, there were the recognitions for the Trimester 3 theme of Service.
Way to go Falcons!
Ms. Quinn's second grade class went on a walking field trip to finish off their bee life cycle unit! They walked to the Fredette's house and were able to ask many questions, they were curious about , while chatting with a professional bee keeper!

Back To School With Confidence Event!
The Revive Church is so excited to be hosting a back-to-school supplies giveaway event again! This event is designed to equip the next generation with needed supplies to return back to school with confidence and help parents fulfill these needs. Every child that is pre-registered will receive a backpack, school supplies, and one outfit, and United Way will be donating a pair of shoes!

Last week some FHUHS students came to FHGS to perform The Visiting Children's Theater Event for our students in Grades K-5. The performance was enjoyed and we thank FHU for the visit!
Mrs. McCrea and Mr. Danyow, our wonderful Kindergarten teachers, made a promise to their classes, that if they worked hard on their Star 360 tests, each would dress CrAzY for a day. Today is that day!
Reminder - Tonight, June 1, Fair Haven Grade School invites you to attend our Celebration or Learning. We will have everything set up inside, so don't let the rain keep you away! Classrooms will be open from 4pm-5pm then from 5pm-6pm enjoy some ice cream, activities and even dancing in the gym. We hope to see you here!
Mr. Danyow's Kindergarten class celebrated filling their nest by exploring with robotics. Students practiced code entering by using Bee Bots, Critter Bots, Bunny Bots and line following Ozobots.

Yesterday afternoon marked our final session of Lifetime Activities with grades 6-8. We truly lucked out on weather for our outdoor activities! We are grateful to all at school and in the community who make this possible.
