A Slater shout-out to the seven student athletes who are proudly representing themselves, their teams and our school, at the VT State Athletic Directors Association - Athletic Leadership Conference in Burlington, VT. The conference started yesterday, and continues today. While in attendance, our students will be immersed in workshops and activities about leadership.

Slater Nation held a Pep Rally this afternoon for the Girls Soccer and Field Hockey Teams as they head off this weekend to battle for their State Championships! Girls Soccer plays tonight at Applejack Stadium in Manchester and Field Hockey plays tomorrow afternoon at UVM in Burlington. Good Luck! and Go SLATERS!!
Professor M. K. Adams teaches the art of ASL every Thursday after school at FHUMHS. The ASL Club is open to all Middle and High School students. What a great opportunity to learn such a valuable life skill!

Yesterday, many Juniors and Seniors chose to meet with the representative from Champlain College. We are happy to see our students participating in these college visits, and hope they continue to take advantage of such opportunities.

COME ONE, COME ALL! Cheer and support our Varsity Football Team in their semi final game this Friday!
Details: #3 FHUHS Varsity Football vs. #2 Mt Anthony, Friday November 4th at Mt Anthony HS with a 7pm start time.
Admission to the game: $10.00 for adults $5.00 for Seniors/Students. Cash at the gate.
NO students 8th grade or under are allowed in without a parent and they MUST stay with their parents during the game.
The visitor Bleachers are closest to the main gate entrance - Adults may sit at any bleacher section, but our student fans must be in the visitor section. Spectators are allowed to stand near ropes along the field, but no one is allowed in the roped off area.
We will be following the VPA pregame statement fan rules!
Booster club will have their Snack Shack open during the game.

There will be no noise makers allowed, for our fans, on site ie: cowbells, whistles, kazoos, or artificial noise makers of any kind. Fair Haven Grade School Students in Ms. Grenier’s kindergarten class made good luck cards for the student athletes starting playoffs at Fair Haven Union Middle and High School! The cards were delivered to coaches with copies on display at FHGS. Go Slaters!
