The 4/5/6 was able to help with the Hidden History Project at Castleton University by digging, screening and counting artifacts! During the field trip, small groups of students rotated through stations including time with Roger Longtoe (chief of the Elnu Abenaki), helping with excavations around the historical home, and more. It was so much fun!

We had a great time observing red worms and how they react to different environments (dark/light, dry/damp, covered/uncovered)! We also learned that worms are helpful to fertilizing the soil!
