Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week continues! This morning administration served coffee and pastries at Fair Haven Grade School. The smiles were priceless. We can't say this enough... but thank you, thank you, thank you to the wonderful teachers and staff of Slate Valley!

FHGS 5th graders had a wonderful opportunity today to participate remotely in a mock civil trial (Barbie v. Ken) sponsored by the VT Superior Court and the Rutland County Bar Association. This experience sparked a great deal of debate among our students and provided a wonderful learning experience about the judicial process. Thank you for providing this learning opportunity for our students and others of Rutland County.

Happy Principal Appreciation Day to Slate Valley's principals. We thank them for all the ways they support their teachers, students, schools and communities every day!
Some kindergarteners helped hang up posters that Mr Danyow's class illustrated reminding our school to help "Green Up Vermont" on Saturday, May 4! The town will give out Green Up bags in the park on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to any volunteers who wish to join the Green Up efforts. Come out and Green Up Fair Haven!!
