Good Morning Slate Valley Families,
As you all know we take any safety concern seriously. We are aware of conversations circulating on social media and throughout our communities regarding youth behavior; specifically in Poultney and Fair Haven. Law enforcement is looking into any concerns that come to their attention and are stepping up their presence in the area. We are not aware of any threats to our schools in Slate Valley.
As always if you hear, see, or know of something please say something. You can always submit a tip anonymously:
Go to www.SAFE4VT.org and click submit a tip, then fill out the form with your information.
Dial 844-SAFE4VT (723-3488) and speak with a call-taker.
Send a text to 274637, type in keyword SAFE4VT and then your tip.
Best,
Brooke Olsen-Farrell
Superintendent

Reminder for all incoming 7th grade students: Sign up forms for the Middle School Transition Camp were sent home with students on Tuesday, May 30th. Students can hand in their form by June 2nd, OR bring it with them on June 5th for their Step-Up Day. We apologize for the confusion and hope this provides clarity. Please email Helen Alexander at halexander@svuvt.org or Andrew Levesque at alevesque@svuvt.org with any questions.

Students in Ms. Nadler's Library classes have been hard at work, collaborating with friends and exercising their imagination to create items using only recyclable items. Come to Fair Haven Grade School's Celebration of Learning to find out what this fun project was all about!

We want to thank our students, staff and school resource office for supporting a successful relocation drill on Thursday. Our students were incredibly quiet and attentive enabling adults to provide any and all direction needed.
