Congratulations to our #3 Slaters who have advanced to the Division II State Championship game against #1 Rice Memorial. Game time has been set for 11 AM on Saturday, November 9th at St. Johnsbury Academy.

Fans are reminded that noise-makers of any kind are not allowed. No horns, megaphones, cowbells, or vuvuzelas are permitted. Also, no confetti bombs or signs are to be put in the ground. Signs and posters can be attached to the bleachers. Please remove anything that gets put up at the conclusion of the game.
Fair Haven will be considered the visiting team, thus our sideline will be across from the press box/large set of bleachers.
T-Shirts will be available. These are long-sleeved shirts, and the price is $30 each. Venmo, cash, or checks will be accepted.
Parking will be available on campus until the lots are full. There will also be off-campus parking and a shuttle to the campus. For safety purposes, it has been recommended to wait for the shuttle rather than try to cross four lanes of traffic on foot.
Ticket prices for the football state championships games are listed below. Tickets can be purchased on Go Fan under the VPA events. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate. People will be directed to either a pre-paid line, or a cash sale line.
Football Championship Ticket Prices: Tickets are good for all 3 games on the day
$10 for adults
$5 for senior citizens and school-age children

The Outdoor Pursuits class had an amazing rock climbing trip at Falls of Lana on Friday, November 1st! The students got plenty of climbing time, and the trip wrapped up with a quick stop at the falls. They did a fantastic job supporting each other, conquering fears, and taking in some incredible views along the way.

Fair Haven Union is honored to announce that Asa Young has been selected as one of the recipients of the Vermont State Athletic Director's Association Student-Athlete Leadership Scholarship. Asa's application and essay stood out amongst a large pool of candidates from throughout Vermont, and he was selected as one of 10 statewide winners. He is now eligible to be selected to represent Vermont in the New England scholarship selection process, which continues into the spring of 2025.
On behalf of Slater Nation, congratulations to Asa and his family, and thank you for being a tremendous ambassador for our community and high school athletics.

The Law Enforcement and Public Service class went on an exciting field trip to the police academy Wednesday. Students had the opportunity to tour the facilities, use the training simulator, and learn about K-9 handling. It was a greatl day filled with valuable hands-on learning experiences.






Today's Boys Soccer quarter-final match will be played at Danville Town Fields, directions are in the link below. Game time is 3 pm, and as of now, is NOT being livestreamed. If that changes, we will update this post as soon as possible. NFHS subscription will be necessary to stream all post-season game per the Vermont Principals' Association.
