FHUMS Project Build students put their craftsmanship to work! Last Tuesday, they delivered handmade lecterns to classrooms at CES and FHGS. Awesome job, everyone!

Thanks to Special Education Teacher, Mr. Mike Lenox, his Fishing Club has been reeling in fun since launching this fall, with around 30 students from grades 7-12 ! In the fall, they cast their lines every Friday after school until the cold set in. While fewer students have joined the weekend ice fishing trips, those who came out this past Saturday had a great time on Burr Pond. The club is looking forward to bringing back Friday trips in late April/early May and fishing right into summer vacation!

🏆🥫 Congratulations to Benson Village School for winning the District-Wide Souper Bowl Food Drive! With an incredible total of 641.40 pounds of food collected across the district, their generosity and teamwork made a big impact. As a reward, Benson students will enjoy a special visit from guest speaker Miss Lucy Cannon-Neel, who will share her Abenaki heritage. Way to go, Benson Bears! 💙 Thank you to all the families who donated for this great cause.

Congratulations to Fair Haven Union High School seniors Emma Eckler and Korbin Hayes on their Senior Night! 🎳✨ They were celebrated at Rutland Bowlerama on Saturday, February 8th, for their dedication and achievements on the lanes. Wishing them all the best in their future endeavors!

Fair Haven Grade School 5th grade teacher Ms. Folmsbee and PBL Coach Ms. Wald hosted an engaging Cognia Testing Information Night, giving parents of Slate Valley the opportunity to experience the same test their children take. The evening began with an explanatory presentation about Cognia, followed by the interactive testing session. Some FHGS students provided childcare, and attendees enjoyed pizza. It was a well-organized and insightful event for all.
