FHUHS varsity boys soccer coaches, Tim Dayton and Dave Carrabino, will hold a summer soccer program beginning Monday, June 19. Training will be held 6:00-8:00 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (except July 3) on the soccer training field at the high school. High school aged players will play 4-8 scrimmages against teams from other schools. Middle school aged players will play 2-4 scrimmages. The program is free of charge, apart from a fee to cover the cost of referees, and is open to boys entering 7th grade in the fall and older. Coaches Dayton and Carrabino are dedicated to helping build fitness, develop the skills, and acquire the understanding of the game necessary to be a soccer player. Even if you have little or no experience, come on out. They're there to teach.

Dear FHUMHS Families, The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our top priority, therefore I felt it pertinent to inform you about a safety concern that was addressed this afternoon. It came to our attention today, Wednesday, May 10th, that we had students in possession of a loaded handgun on school property. The handgun was reported to be in a student’s vehicle on Monday, May 8th. Upon learning this today, we immediately notified law enforcement, who responded to this situation, and we are in contact with the students’ families. There is no known threat to students or staff at this time. We are taking this incident very seriously. Per our school policy, weapons of any kind are not allowed on school property. If you ever learn of any potential safety concerns, please let us know. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Sincerely, Brooke Olsen-Farrell Superintendent
